TIL: Rider 2025.3.0.1 bugfix release exists
JetBrains recently released a major update in Rider 2025.3 with lots of great new features. The release did not go without issues, however, since users have reported trouble with plugin updates and NuGet authentication.
Apparently a bugfix 2025.3.0.1 was released two days later, but critically, a separate update blog post was not made. Instead, the post about 2025.3 fixes was updated. As the blog is my main information source via RSS (I don't tend to just randomly start the Toolbox app), I've spent the last week without tools like the AI Assistant. Which, gotta say, has been a nice reality check on how much of a crutch it has become.
Anyway, if you're a patient dummy like me and were unaware that a bugfix release has been available (for a week..), go ahead and upgrade now. All my 'broken' plugins besides Color Brackets updated nicely, and that seems to be just due to the plugin actually not supporting the newest version just yet.
